ABOUT:

Project Firefly  is a collaboration with (Slovene/ Argentinian) artist Tatiana Kocmur it is ongoing project that started in 2017.

Doing standing interventions in public space, standing still for approximately 1 hour in diverse spaces at night in full silver body suite with the lighted mask on head observing sensations and the change of the space with body presence.

CONCEPT:

 

Standing still and observing the thoughts.

Images are created and poetical space is opening for us together.


Exposing female body and it's symbolic value. To expose it and objectify it, present it as an object. Giving critique of female body that is seen in a certain context as a symbol of pleasure and desire of strictly physical appearance.

Researching how people aproach, feedback and presence of people observing the body instalation in different situations in public spaces. The focus is observation of internal thought patterns the stories that are apearing

during standing in the same position.

Work is in a way psychological research.

There is as well strong interested in how the body installation is transforming the space itself, with choosing the location the way of positioning and selecting the time of standing.
